OUR HISTORY
The Back House Fitness Studio (BHFS) was founded by NFLA Certified Personal Trainer, Brandon Backhouse. From a small basement gym to a 2500 square foot facility. The Back House Fitness Studio was a simple dream that grew from humble beginnings and manifested into the life changing facility you see today.
The BHFS is a perfect place to start or continue your fitness journey. Whether you’re a beginner trying to learn the basics and tone up or someone who is advanced prepping for a competition, we can design and execute a resistance and nutrition program tailored specifically to your goals.
In our private studio, you will have access to the best equipment with no wait times or interruptions to your workout. You will also work with a highly knowledgeable trainer who is passionate about the fitness industry and takes pride in helping individuals conquer the fitness goals they have set out.
Even if you have a hectic schedule, we’ll accommodate and provide you with all the support you need to create a manageable fitness plan that will create a positive impact on the rest of your life.

OUR PURPOSE

BODY COMPOSITION / TONING

Cardiovascular / Endurance
Our hearts are our most valuable assets and we should do the most we can to protect them. Whether your goal is to have more energy to play with your kids or to just have more stamina in your everyday activities, improving your cardiovascular health and endurance will help lead you to a healthier, happier and more productive lifestyle.
Lets ditch the typical long grueling cardio sessions and incorporate things like HITT (high intensity interval training), Sled push/pulls, Tabatas and circuit training into your workouts. Having a nice variety will keep your body and mind challenged, keeping far away boredom and moving much closer to your desired results.


Mobility
At the BHFS we believe injury prevention is key for our aging bodies. As you become older your body becomes less mobile, more stiff and doing even simple everyday tasks can seem difficult.
With a proper stretching routine your mobility will improve drastically. Using different techniques like PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular facilitation), band work, dynamic and static stretching we can help create a sustainable and pain free future for our clients.
Nutrition
What we eat reflects back drastically on how we feel. Training and addressing your diet with the correct approach adds to your life exponentially, increasing your energy, decreasing your stress, heightening your mood, boosting long term health and equipping you with confidence in your everyday strength and appearance.
We will work with you on your approach to nutrition and educate you on things like macronutrients, supplements, and sleep habits. We can provide customized meal plans tailored directly for your goals. With our guidance, maintaining and building a healthier relationship with food will be ideal for your future fitness journey and lifestyle.
